For several years concurrently, Judie worked with a newspaper publishing company laying out print ads and assigning news hole. She also held the role of special supplements editor, performing interviews, writing/editing articles, designing and formatting pages, taking all magazines and tabloids through prepress to final production. She continues to maintain a strong command of prepress, print, and production.

Judie holds dual degrees in Communications & Media and Paralegal Studies from Sacred Heart University. She regularly advances her knowledge and skill levels with coursework and workshops in design, web-related classes, typography, writing, and software applications.
